Elizabeth David on Vegetables

Elizabeth David was born on Boxing Day 1913 and this collection of her most-loved vegetable recipes celebrated that centenary.  They feature a range of timeless dishes and are accompanied by colour photographs. Threaded through are some of her short essays – evocative pieces of history and anecdote as well as practical culinary advice.
